Great Valley Schools
The Great Valley School District Education Foundation (GVSDEF) is an approved Educational Improvement Organization through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.
Through EITC, eligible Pennsylvania businesses can redirect a portion of their state tax liability to approved educational organizations such as GVSDEF while receiving a substantial Pennsylvania tax credit.
Here’s how it works: Eligible Pennsylvania businesses apply to the EITC program through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). Once approved, the business makes its contribution to the Great Valley School District Education Foundation and receives a Pennsylvania tax credit equal to 75% of the contribution — or up to 90% with a two-year commitment.
Your business can make a meaningful local impact by helping GVSDEF provide educational opportunities that go beyond what the regular school budget can provide.
EITC IS ALREADY WORKING FOR GREAT VALLEY
In both 2024–2025 and 2025–2026, GVSDEF received $17,000 in EITC support from four generous business partners:
First Resource Bank – $5,000
IMC Construction – $5,000
First Citizens Community Bank (FCCB) – $4,000
EO / Geoff and Lindsay Forcino – $3,000

HOW EITC SUPPORT HELPS
EITC and other community support help fund educational opportunities throughout Great Valley schools, including:
• STEAM initiatives
• Technology programs
• Dual enrollment opportunities
• Visiting arts programs
• Field trips and hands-on learning experiences
• Other approved educational initiatives that enrich student learning
